The Final Collector Bikes – Taschen


I had the pleasure of advising on (and being included in) a mammoth new mission from publishers Taschen: the 2-volume set of The Final Collector Bikes, a 20lb behemoth in a stunning slipcover with a number of cowl variations – my superior copy has a Münch Mammüt, however I’ve additionally seen a Brough Superior Golden Dream and Gilera 4 GP.  The books are written by Peter and Charlotte Fiell and edited by Taschen; it’s an actual blockbuster, and like nothing else revealed about bikes.  The intent was to revisit the thought of a High 100 checklist of a very powerful (‘collectible’) bikes, and the bikes have been sourced from around the globe, in non-public collections and museums, representing a very outstanding array of machines…a few of which I’ve Street Examined on The Vintagent!
