TT 2022: Michael Rutter mentioned to Quick Bikes John McAvoy “it will be an excellent concept to trip one thing with handlebars and no fairing across the TT course” – so we sorted it out for him.
Enter the KTM Tremendous Duke R EVO, shod with Metzeler Racetec RR’s, protected by R&G and a trip that shook Michaels Shoei from Bray Hill to the Begin End Straight some 37.73 miles later.
With solely yellow flags from the earlier race, gasoline conservation and the inevitable fly’s peppering his visor (see 18:37 for the complete impact), slowing him down in response to Michael this was “The scariest bike I’ve ever ridden across the TT course”…
