O.Ok. I obtained my reply as to how DT Swiss Straight Pull Spokes are measured, however now I must know the way they measure their “normal” nipples and their “Squorx” nipples.
My aim is to rebuild an 18 spoke radial entrance wheel and life might be simpler if I can simply substitute DT Swiss spokes/nipples for the Fulcrum variations that have been within the wheel.
Am I appropriate in assuming that DT Swiss would measure their “normal” nipple size from exterior to exterior and that their “Squorx” nipples which have the added Torx head for exterior tightening, are measured from their base nearest the hub to the highest of the cap that normal nipples have, i.e., not together with the portion of the nipple used for adjustment via the rim holes.
