Sunday dawns and I am up early to get to the beginning of the Norwich & District VMCC Fortress Acre Run however first, it is a journey on the W/NG to ship the TS125 tank:
With the tank again on the MZ, son Tom begins the freshly oiled & fuelled SQ4 that he’ll trip right now. I am on the fashionable Interceptor, only for a change.
First cease is at the beginning of the run, for tea, a chat and to signal on. Beautiful barn conversion and outbuildings:
At 11:00, we depart for the 37 mile journey to Fortress Acre, following the Tulip route sheets. I make the error of stress-free in the back of a line of two bikes who miss a flip and I’ve to double again, messing up my calculations. We arrive finally, and I am not final, although I look forward to finding Tom and the SQ4 there already. He isn’t, and it seems he is stopped to attend for me, witnessed by the missed calls on my cellphone. He turns up a couple of minutes later and we’ve lunch.
Two parts of loaded fries and a chat later we wander out to take a look at the bikes, and do some extra chatting…
The remainder of the part will take one other 37 mile run again to the beginning, however since that may be in completely the flawed path for us we are saying our goodbyes and head again to North Norfolk.
Totals for the day – 130 miles for me aboard two totally different bikes; about 100 of these on the Interceptor. The SQ4 goes rather well and makes use of negligible oil, however consumes gas at 36 mpg!
